This half-timbered cottage is an example of a Czech cottage dating from 1797, with simple furnishings from the 19th century. The laundry, drying and ironing building for the manor house was built in the vicinity in the 1840s. The place with two buildings is now called Staré Bělidlo and the cottage is the main setting for the book Babička (Grandmother) by the writer Božena Němcová. The author situated the dwelling of the literary grandmother and the Proškový family there.
